Manager of department providing education and membership services for statewide coalition of 40 domestic violence programs and rape crisis centers. Responsible for leadership in all aspects of program development, educational materials development, technical assistance of members, statewide community outreach and networking, conference and event planning. Executive officer of advocacy and service organization focused on the issues of domestic violence and sexual assault. Provided oversight to all aspects of agency including operations, management information systems, education and training, public policy, and public relations. Managed financial operations of $1.2 million budget and oversaw 25% growth. (Jan - Aug 1999) EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Massachusetts Coalition Against Sexual Assault, Inc. Executive officer for statewide coalition of 21 rape crisis centers. Responsible for all aspects of fiscal management, board of directors development, and leadership of the organization. Responsible for program development, materials and resource development, training, consultation, fundraising, grant writing, legislative initiatives, public awareness and implementation of strategies to enhance the rights of sexual assault and abuse survivors. As first staff of statewide coalition, responsible for all aspects of startup including set up of fiscal systems, data base management, board development, goal setting and development of staffing structure with solid funding support. Facilitated efforts that led to merger of organization with Massachusetts Coalition of Battered Womens Services to form Jane Doe Inc. Established satellite office for Northern Worcester County. Oversaw agency growth that resulted in 100% growth in budget.
