D Zeutas-Broer is a diversity consultant and educator, a wellness trainer and a certified yoga teacher.  She is a Licensed Certified Social Worker and has an M.A. in Counseling Psychology. Her doctoral work in Human Services and Applied Behavioral Sciences included holistic therapies, leadership, and social justice. She has participated in several improvisation workshops with Academy Award winning actor, Alan Arkin. 

 

D has been a trainer and trained trainers for the National Conference for Community and Justice.She has taught at Anna Maria College and Quinsigamond Community College and currently teaches at the Worcester Art Museum.  She provides workplace yoga and optimal stress response training, specializing in work with clinicians and service providers as well as trauma survivors. 

 

D was the recipient of a grant from the International Educational Advisory Committee for her presentation, "Multicultural Movement: Understanding Ourselves and Others Through Movement". Her workshops and conference presentations include: Self Awareness and Creative Stress Response, Creativity and Change, and Diversity Awareness: Where are we now?.  D is interested in a holistic and creative approach to positive change. She believes humor can be anxiety relieving and an integral part of the learning and healing processes. 

 

D and her husband, David, are actively involved in human and animal rights.  Their canine companions, Savuka and Xena, oversee the animal rights work.  D and David are long standing supporters of the South African Development Fund, formerly The Fund for a Free South Africa.
